News: Mallika Sherawat Met Barak Obama Once Again | Bollywood News

Mallika Sherawat meets Obama once againMallika Sherawat once again met Barack Obama at Saturday night's White House Correspondents' dinner.

The starlet wore a white gown designed by Shahab Durazi on the occasion.

Madame M had also met the US President last month during his campaign visit in Hollywood. She is said to have spoken about her film Politics of Love, Barack.

Obama had told her invite him to the film's premiere! This time, however, the pics have her at a distance from the President.

Katrina Kaif, who believes love is the most beautiful thing in the world, wants veteranlyricist Gulzar to pen a love poem for her.
“Nobody has ever written a poem for me. But if actually someone writes a poem for me, I think that will be very romantic,” she said at the launch of Pritish Nandy’s book oflove poems Tonight, This Savage Rite.
Looking her best in an off white-knee length dress, Katrina, 26, surprised everyone when she said: “I want Gulzar saab to write poems for me.”

Gulzar, 74, who has written innumerable songs for Hindi films and has many poetry books to his credit, was present at the event and said: “Inshallah, I would write a poem for Katrina for sure.”

“Even though love is known to entail pain, disappointment, disillusionment, still I don’t want to be pessimistic about love. I would rather want to have a positive approach tolove. I believe that there can be a happy ending, because love is the most beautiful thing in the world,” she said.

Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez who has worked in three films but haven’t had much luck at the box office, is now pinning her hopes on the sequel of Murder to catapult her into Bollywood’s big league.
She is the Bhatts’ preferred choice over Mallika Sherawat – whose passion play with Emraan Hashmi was one of the reasons why many folks flocked to theatres to see the 2004 flick – for Murder 2, to be directed not by Anurag Basu, but by Mohit Suri.
“The character I play is balanced. She is bold. She is sensuous. She is clever. But at the same time it’s a character every girl can relate to,” Jacqueline said while talking about her character. She said to reporters.

Jacqueline is not unaware that there would comparisons drawn with Mallika Sherawat.

“We all know what ‘Murder’ did for Mallika… It’s natural that people will makecomparisons and it’s also natural that it will make me quite nervous and put me under pressure,” Jacqueline candidly admitted.
But what spurs up her confidence is the fact that the Bhatts are behind her.
“They are very cool. They are like family. I am just looking forward to the shoot as I know that I am in good hands,” she said.

At a book launch by author-filmmaker Pritish Nandy recently, actress Katrina Kaif raved about love.
“Though I am not an avid reader but I like romantic books. Love is a good thing. At times in love, there are disappointments…one must not keep expectations. I like to be positive in love. I believe in happy endings,” Katrina is quoted to have said at the function at a bookstore in suburban Bandra.
Her comment is quite loaded with meaning if you consider the fact that she wasrecently spotted enjoying a car ride with Ranbir Kapoor.

The book that was released was on love poems ‘Tonight, This Savage Rite’ by Nandy and Kamala Das.
“After meeting him (Nandy) I got very much interested in his subject of love. Poems are a way of expressing your love. They are so beautiful,”Katrina said.
When asked whom she would love to gift the love poems in Bollywood, the actress said, “I would like to give a book of love poems to all the unmarried men.”
Surely the lot includes Ranbir as well.
